Advisory Research

Dasra research reports involve six months of in-depth research on key social sectors in India. These reports highlight the most impactful and scalable non-profit and social business models and effective interventions that make a significant difference in improving people's lives. The reports help philanthropists gain insight on current social issues thereby enabling strategic giving.


Dasra's Portfolio team takes strategic consulting to the next level by working with organizations to help them scale through capacity building, due diligence and peer learning. 

Capacity Building: Assisting non-profits with hand-holding support across organizational processes to make them sustainable.

Due Diligence: Identifying the most scalable and impactful organizations through robust evaluation and screening processes.

Peer Learning: Providing non-profit organizations and social businesses with transformational skills to scale through executive workshop trainings.


Dasra's funding works with existing Funders and Partners as well as identifies and evaluates opportunities for other grant and funding support for Dasra.


Dasra Communications team provides cutting edge communication solutions for all Dasra verticals using different media both for internal and external target audiences.

Finance and Operations

Dasra's operation and finance team supports Dasra's day to day management, finances and drawing up policies for compensation and benefits.

Human Resources

Dasra's Human Resources team supports Dasra by managing recruiting, performance reviews, compensation and benefits, HR policies, professional development, and new and on going HR/Talent Management initiatives.

Dasra Girls Alliance (DGA)

Dasra has launched a five-year, $14 million initiative called the Dasra Girl Alliance that is supported by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and Kiawah Trust, with a focus on addressing the healthcare needs of mothers, newborns and children in rural and urban India while also working on programs and outputs that empower girls.

Information Technology The role of an IT Analyst entails being responsible for managing Dasra's Current IT infrastructure and being actively involved in implementation and maintenance of enterprise applications. This ideal candidate should be Mumbai based with a minimum of 2-3 years.
Impact Assessment Dasra's Impact Assessment team rigorously assess the impact being created by Dasra as well as its partners - non profits and social businesses to see how they are changing millions of lives for the better.
Dasra Social Impact Dasra Social Impact (DSI) is the flagship program of Dasra. With an alumni of 180 organizations, DSI focuses on fostering peer learning, building networks & collaboration of high potential growth stage non-profits and social businesses that are poised to scale.
