At Dasra, Shailja Mehta leads the Dasra Adolescents Collaborative. 

Shailja was a founding member of Aangan, overseeing their operations, partnerships and financial management. She is a Dasra Social Impact Fellow, 2012; a Ford Motor Company Fellow, 2012; and an Ananta Aspen India Initiative Fellow, 2013.

Her past experience includes managing public relations with Procter and Gamble, setting up and running Third Eye - a boutique public relation agency that focused on increasing awareness and media coverage for artists and Art Galleries. She was also a part of the marketing team that launched the magazine Time Out India.

Shailja has a Bachelors in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai and a Diploma in Social Communication Media from Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai.

Kearney as a management consultant, with experience in Consumer & Retail, Oil & Gas and Automotive industries.

She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. She also has a gold medal in B.Ch.E from Jadavpur University and has worked at Engineers India Limited.

His work there focused on setting up the producer organization and making energy and technology accessible in villages. He holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology.

Anurag is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He also holds a Bachelor in Commerce from University of Delhi. He is a film enthusiast and has participated in a number of film making and film appreciation workshops.

He has created measurable and sustainable impact in his various roles through large scale implementation of process, technology and people solutions. He has been involved in start-up and scaling up to large institutions and received awards and citations in his various roles in national and global forum. He has spoken at forums in capability development space including at Association of Talent Development (ATD.org) at their global annual conference in US on ‘capabilities strategies for emerging economies’.
At HDFC Life, he was also heading the Corporate Social Responsibility where he worked closely with partner NGO in field of education, health, livelihood and environment sustainability.

He also initiated the Dasra Giving Circle – India’s largest collaborative giving platform, which combines in-depth research, funding and managerial support to non-profits to enable scale of 15-30x.

He has written articles for media publications such as Mint, Business India and Alliance Magazine and has been quoted in NDTV, Times of India, Economic Times, Hindustan Times and Mint. He has spoken at platforms such as the Global Philanthropy Forum, We the People-NDTV, The Outsider-Bloomberg TV, Unconvention-Forum, SOCAP. He comes with over 15 years of experience in both the private sector and development sector.  Prior to joining Dasra, Krishnan worked in New York as a strategic and management consultant at National Economic Research Associates (NERA - a subsidiary of Mercer consulting), covering a range of sectors from Telecom/Media/financial services.

Krishnan switched to the development sector, where for 6 years he worked on the Gates foundations’ flagship India program, Avahan - a 10 year, USD 600-million-dollar HIV program. He led the efforts in transitioning the whole program to the govt of India.

Krishnan Graduated from Columbia University with a Masters in International Affairs and was awarded an academic fellowship during his time.  Krishnan’s interest extends beyond working in the development sector - he has helped with writing the script for English Vinglish (a Bollywood movie) that premiered at the Toronto film festival.

Her experience in the Financial Services Industry covers both Commercial banking and Cash management knowledge across various industry segments such as Consumer Brands, Retail, Insurance, Telecoms, Technology and Oil and Gas in various regions such as Asia Pacific, MENA, Europe. In her various roles, Natasha has traveled widely with postings in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia Pacific regions managing, developing and motivating teams to define and achieve their objectives.

She has also invested in broadening her experience by partnering with corporate clients to advance their social agendas. She worked with Unilever, Grassroots (NGO) and SEWA to build a platform between SEWA and Unilever in marketing products, engaged with NDDB to design a smart card for retail milk sales across all Mother Dairy milk booths in Delhi, was part of the core working group formed by the RBI to commercialize RTGS across India and later the creation of the National Payments Corporation of India and partnered with Mandeshi Cooperative to design and create a cash management system to service their rural borrowers, partnered with ITC to create a cash management system which would service the eChoupal HUBS and the farmers across various states of India.

Prior to Dasra, he has 3 years of consulting experience with Bain where he worked on cases across multiple industries. While at Bain, he headed the weekend volunteering program to encourage employee engagement in community development, led the Global Carbon Neutrality project in 2016, and also co-authored a research publication on Spatial Economics as part of the Macro Trends Group.

After the 2004 tsunami, using his expertise in community mobilization, Vana played a pivotal role in organizing relief efforts in Southern India.

He has worked closely with pioneering organizations like Mann Deshi, SNEHA, Naz, Aangan Trust and ARMMAN, supporting them on business planning and strategy, organizational structure and HR, fundraising, financial planning and impact assessment. 

Prior to joining Dasra, Vishal worked for 4 years under the Antitrust Competition Economics division at Charles River Associates, Boston, where he performed economic analyses for mergers and acquisitions and antitrust lawsuits. Vishal holds a BA in Economics with Honors from Trinity College, Hartford, CT, where he also co-captained the Squash Team (US inter-collegiate national champions).
